University students that were taught Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation technique showed improved clustering in short-term memory after a mere 40 days of practicing the technique, which indicated an increased organisation of the thought process, as compared to randomly assigned control groups, that were instructed to sit with their eyes closed twice a day.
